Oxyfresh Air Purification System
The Problem
Odors, sick buildings, colds, flu, and viruses are caused by bacteria, viruses, smoke, molds, fungus, toxins, chemicals, mildew, and a host of other airborne pollutants. Most traditional odor removal methods utilize perfumes or fragrances to simply mask the odor with another odor creating stale air. Homes and offices are tightly insulated and sealed now more than ever before. This helps to save energy. However, it also traps pollutants indoor to create “sick building syndrome” and a haven for cold and flu germs. Most colds and viruses are caught indoors by airborne germs. Indoor air pollution is now considered by the EPA to be America’s number one environmental health problem.
THE SOLUTION
Air filters have been used for years and are effective in trapping particles. They are of little or no use on odors, germs, vapors, or gases. Nature purifies air by the ultraviolet (UV) light rays from the sun and ozone, which is produced by thunderstorms and UV light rays. This is why the air always smells so great after a thunderstorm. Ozone is O3 (or enriched oxygen), an oxygen molecule with 3 atoms instead of 2, like the oxygen we breathe. Ozone is a highly efficient purification agent or oxidizer. Air treated with ozone is purified in milliseconds. Ultraviolet Light Rays from the sun (or germicidal ultraviolet light) has the ability to destroy viruses, bacteria, and fungi. The UV, in addition to its germicidial functions, also reacts with excess ozone and convert it back to pure oxygen. Ion Generation occurs in nature from lightning and ultraviolet radiation. The Oxyfresh Air broadcasts natural nega-tive ions which react with dust, pollen, and smoke. The negative ion attraction collects the particles throughout the room and settles them to the ground.
